Data management is meticulously handled via a custom developed Transactional Recipient Order Tracker system (FOXTROT) and administered by trained and experienced data processors, developers, and analysts. Incoming data for end-customers is massaged and formatted in a variety of methods to best suit the recognition program— all allowing for seamless delivery to recipients.

Data Objectives

• Collection: web site, data or text string, spreadsheet, download, link
• Compilation: recipient data, shipment information, award designation, history files
• Validation: incomplete or missing data, invalid shipping data, duplications
• Standardization: punctuation, spacing, casing, font sizes and styles
• Verification: assimilating administrative and historical data to ensure recipient qualification

Data Processing

• Data is integrated into production and fulfillment via a proprietary software platform developed by The Fox Group IT staff
• This platform, called “FoxTrot”, loads all data in a “live” format into the production stream, and includes online verification and quality control mechanisms to ensure accuracy
• Data from FoxTrot is downloaded directly into personalization production, alleviating the necessity for re-keying or manipulating data; this guarantees the data is clean from front to back
• Posting of shipments is extracted from FoxTrot, again assuring the accuracy of the data
• The FoxTrot platform also allows for direct reporting of shipment data, including tracking identification, for real-time progress and performance assessment by our customers

The FoxTrot Interface

The FoxTrot Interface is a proprietary platform for processing data. The system directly feeds personalization and shipping departments, thereby alleviating errors caused by re-keying. It also provides customizable status and performance reports to customers.
